About us

Brand by Me is a brand meets strategy consultancy. We help ambitious organisations build BRILLIANT brands that win business and achieve social change and impact. We love working with small and medium sized businesses and organisations with BIG ideas. We'll help you define, articulate and deliver your brand, working with teams, gathering audience insights, running workshops and creating practical action plans and tools all to embed your brand into long term strategy. To build a brand effectively, it has to be embedded into the strategy and operation of the business, delivered through compelling products and services and lived by the people who work there. This is not easy which is why Brand by Me’s all-inclusive brand strategy approach is built to help organisations do this. - We facilitate workshops to ensure that key stakeholders and staff are brought together to develop and articulate the brand – this is not something that is done to our clients but a way of working that creates buy-in, engagement and commitment at every level of the organisation. - We mentor brand leaders, business founders and day to day managers throughout the process on how to make the case for the brand, how to positively address brand and organisational challenges, and how to hold the organisation, team or partners accountable for its delivery. - We create simple and practical tools to embed the brand strategy into day to day operation – from user journeys, to culture audits, to project plan templates and much more – which we work on with our clients initially then upskill them to take these techniques forward into everyday activity. - We provide ongoing project management and creative support if needed, so that our clients can benefit from our expertise as they bring their brand to life. We'd love to work with you. So do get in touch! hello@brandbyme.co.uk facebook.com/brandbyme Twitter: @brandbycollette

  • If your brand claims to care about anti-racism but hasn’t taken meaningful action, people notice. And no, adding a “DEI statement” to your website isn’t enough. DISMANTLE Live is here to help decision-makers take real steps toward dismantling harmful systems within their businesses, campaigns, and leadership. This is for brands that want to be about it, not just talk about it. If that’s you, we’d love to have you. Link in comments #BrandsDoBetter #Accountability #DismantleLive

    • A professional Black woman wearing a beige turtleneck sweater and a black headwrap sits at a table with her hands clasped together, looking off to the side with a confident and calm expression. Overlaid on the image is a pop-up notification styled like a smartphone reminder. The notification has bold black text reading "Reminder" and a message below that states: "This work takes time AND it is urgent." Two buttons at the bottom offer the options "Accept" in blue and "Decline" in red.
  • Let’s be real—some people just want to look like they care about anti-racism. But if you’re seeing this, we’re guessing that’s not you. You know that racism isn’t just about individual bad actors—it’s about the systems we exist in every day. You don’t just want to avoid the shark; you want to change the water. That takes more than reading a few books. It takes action. It takes accountability. That’s what DISMANTLE Live is about. Our 6-week anti-racist action, learning, and accountability programme is open now. Doors close soon, so book today. • The image features a background of dark ocean water with waves. Overlaid on the image is a pop-up notification designed to resemble a smartphone reminder. The notification reads:

Reminder
“White supremacy is the water, not the shark.”

Below the message, there are two options: “Accept” in blue and “Decline” in red.

The imagery and text suggest a metaphor about systemic racism, implying that white supremacy is an all-encompassing environment rather than just individual acts of racism.
  • A lot of people start anti-racism work with good intentions. Then life happens. Work gets busy. It feels overwhelming. You stall. Here’s the thing: anti-racism isn’t something you “get through.” It’s ongoing. And it takes commitment and accountability to keep going. DISMANTLE Live gives you exactly that—a 6-week programme designed to help you stay in the work, challenge yourself, and take action. If you’re serious, we’re here for you. Let’s get unstuck. 🚀 Link in comments 📸 Image Credit: @devthepineapple via Instagram #KeepGoing #DismantleLive #Accountability

    • A black-and-white digital illustration of a man and a woman sitting closely together, both with heart-shaped face paint on their cheeks. The woman leans her head on the man's shoulder with a gentle smile, while the man looks content. The text above them reads "AFFIRMATION:" followed by the quote, "I REFUSE TO LET THE LACK OF EMPATHY FROM OTHERS DICTATE HOW I NAVIGATE THIS WORLD." The image also features a "DISMANTLE RECOMMENDS" sticker in the top left corner. Image credit: @devthepineapple via Instagram.

    • A graphic with a dark blue and bright green colour scheme. The bold text at the top reads, "Not racist" in large green letters, followed by "Does not equal anti-racist" in dark blue on a bright green background. The bottom right corner features the "Dismantle" logo in green with wavy, hand-drawn-style text.
  • Let’s talk about fear. Maybe you’ve hesitated to engage in anti-racism because you’re afraid of:  🚨 Saying the wrong thing  🚨 Being called out  🚨 Making mistakes Sound familiar? Here’s the truth—you will get things wrong. We all do. But avoiding the conversation? That’s not the answer. DISMANTLE Live is a space where you can learn, unlearn, and push through that fear—so that you’re not just tiptoeing around the issue but actually dismantling harm. We’ll guide you through it. • We hear a lot of brands and leaders say they care about anti-racism. But what are they actually doing? It’s easy to put out a statement. It’s easy to attend a one-off workshop. But anti-racism isn’t a PR exercise—it’s a lifelong commitment. And let’s be real—many people don’t know where to start. Or they started and then… stalled. It happens. That’s exactly why we created DISMANTLE Live—a 6-week action and accountability programme that takes you from good intentions to real, lasting change. If you’re done with performative allyship and ready to do the work, we’ve got you. At Brand By Me, we help brands turn good intentions into real action—because empty words don’t create change. 👉 Sign up now: link in the comments  #AntiRacism #BrandAccountability #StepForward #DismantleRacism

    • The image features a Black woman with natural hair, wearing a red blazer and white top, sitting in a modern office space. She is smiling and engaged in conversation. In the foregr

ound, there is a pop-up notification-style graphic with bold text reading:

Reminder:
Talking isn’t enough.
Here’s how brands can ACTUALLY engage in anti-racism work.

Below the text are two buttons: "Accept" in green and "Decline" in red. The background includes contemporary office decor with warm lighting, a pink couch, and a blurred figure wearing a white sweater with pink details. The Brand By Me signature green brushstroke appears in the top right corner.
  • 🚨 Tomorrow is not business as usual. 🚨 Tomorrow, 28th Feb is an #EconomicBlackout. The global call to action asks consumers to pause all spending—except at small businesses—to send a clear message: brands that don’t take equity and justice seriously will lose our loyalty. This isn’t just a moment. It’s a shift. Consumers are showing up differently. Spending differently. Expecting more. And they’re paying attention to which brands are truly committed to change—and which are just paying lip service. No more surface-level commitments. It’s time for bold action. So ask yourself: Is your brand ready for action—or playing catch-up? If you’re ready to move beyond performative gestures and make anti-racism a core part of your brand strategy, we can help. Let’s talk. 📩 DM us  to start the conversation. #EconomicBlackout #AntiRacism #RacialEquity #SocialJustice #BrandAccountability #DoBetter

    • Alt text: A digital graphic with a dark blue background features a pop-up style reminder box in the center. The box has bold text that reads, "Reminder: #EconomicBlackout is Tomorrow!" Below the message, there are two buttons: "Accept" in green and "Decline" in red. In the top right corner, there are two green brushstroke accents. At the bottom of the image, the "Brand by Me" logo is displayed in white and green text.
  • We believe that for real change to happen, brands must engage in tough but necessary conversations. This means creating safe and brave spaces where everyone feels comfortable speaking their truth. Building these spaces means: - Listening with care and without judgment - Embracing discomfort as part of growth - Supporting each other as we learn and evolve together When we talk about equity and anti-racism, it’s especially important to be open and honest, ensuring that people from minoritised groups are not triggered, silenced, or dismissed. 🔗 How do you create safe and brave spaces in your community or workplace?
