𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮. 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗶́𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻 💪 Our BioFarm “action heroes” may be dressed up in pastel boxes, but their inspiration comes straight from the field. 🧪 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗲 was inspired by Alin Ximena Casado, our BioFarm Health Lead in Chile. From diagnostics to farm visits, Alín’s deep knowledge and hands-on support are key to fish health management across the region. 📊 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻 was modelled after San Do, BioFarm Technical Advisor and on-farm problem solver in Vietnam. With his tablet, samples and deep expertise in shrimp nutrition, San supports farmers daily in reaching their production goals. These characters were fun to create, but what makes them truly special is that they reflect the real dedication, passion, and purpose of our BioFarm team. Across regions and time zones, we’re proud to work alongside experts like Alín and San, who bring aquaculture to life every day.

Say hello to the 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀, inspired by the real people who support your farms every day 🧪 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗲 comes with her fish, pH meter and microscope, just like the ones used to monitor and safeguard animal health on site. 📊 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻 arrives with shrimp feed samples in hand and a tablet full of farm data, ready to help you optimise performance and support your feed strategy. Our ‘action hero’ BioFarm team is always ready to serve our customers around the world. We already know what we’re asking Santa for this Christmas 😉 🎅

"𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹? 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻?" That’s the question Katherine Bryar raised earlier today at the Blue Food Innovation Summit We see the word “natural” everywhere: on packaging, in campaigns, across conversations. But what does it really mean? Is it something untouched by humans? Grown without technology? Wild? The answer varies depending on region, context, and personal point of view, and very often, the meaning is vague. In aquaculture, this question becomes even more complex. Wild fish might be seen as "natural" also, but what has it eaten out there in the wild? A farmed fish might be considered less "natural" yet be produced with quality controlled feed and support long-term resource efficiency and traceability. As our food systems evolve, so do the terms we use. Perhaps the more important questions are: How was it produced? What impact does it have? Is it helping to build a resilient food system that can meet global needs today and tomorrow? To create the next generation of aquafeed, we need to rethink terms like natural and redefine traditional raw materials.
