🌱🌷 Community News from the Nottingham Greenheart Project! 🌷🌱 We’re proud to announce that ATV has partnered with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and Grow Notts to enhance the beauty of the city through nature! With the incredible efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers, we’ve been planting a diverse selection of spring-flowering bulbs along the newly completed Greenheart scheme. These bulbs will bring vibrant color and life to our urban spaces in the coming months, contributing to local biodiversity and creating welcoming green areas for everyone to enjoy. 🌿🐝 Some of the species we planted include: Allium globemaster Camassia cusickii Colchicum autumnale Crocus vernus Tulipa sylvestris We can’t wait to see these plants in full bloom next spring, showcasing the stunning beauty of both native and non-native species. Partnering with Nottingham City Council and Willmott Dixon, they brought their expertise in creating vibrant public spaces, turning the old Broadmarsh Centre into a green urban sanctuary. 💡 ATV's Key Contributions: Expert soil importation to ensure healthy, thriving landscapes. Planting large specimen trees, including an impressive oak tree from Ireland Implementing a sustainable wetland ecosystem for increased biodiversity. Community engagement was a core element, with ATV overseeing the planting of 6,000 bulbs, encouraging local pride and ownership. 🏆 By transforming a neglected urban space into a thriving, biodiverse area, ATV Contract Services showcased their innovative solutions for sustainable urban development. Hope you're not getting too wet out there! 🌧️ Despite the rainy weather, our operations team are hard at work in Great Brington, putting the finishing touches on a 921m run of stock fencing for Murphy (JMS). This crucial project ensures that the landowners can safely return their livestock to the field, which runs alongside the rail corridor. We’ll be back later in the autumn to install around 1 mile of palisade fencing to secure the site once infrastructure works have been completed.
