  • At Assala, we believe in empowering the next generation. Since 2022, our Leaders de Demain programme has trained 57 young people from communities near our operations, combining classroom learning with hands-on experience in maintenance, electricity, instrumentation, production, HSSE, supply chain, social performance and land logistics on our sites. Building on this success, 14 graduates from the first edition have already secured jobs, either with Assala Gabon or other companies. Most recently, 28 participants earned their diplomas—a testament to their hard work, discipline, and dedication—and are now ready to take the next step in their careers. This programme underscores our commitment to Local Content Development, equipping young talent with the skills to drive Gabon’s economic growth. 🎓 Congratulations to our Leaders de Demain graduates!   #LeadersdeDemain #WinWinPartnerships #AssalaGabon #LocalContent #CommunityImpact

  • Assala Gabon, in collaboration with ONG Precious Plastic and AGEN, a company specialising in plastic waste collection, has launched an initiative to recycle plastic materials generated from our production sites into practical and sustainable products.   This project focuses on transforming waste into durable construction materials, high-quality decorative items, and essential school supplies.   By integrating recycling into our operations, we strengthen our commitment to minimising environmental impact and contributing to a circular economy. This initiative reflects Assala’s broader strategy to drive sustainable practices while delivering positive outcomes for local communities.   #Sustainability #Recycling #StrategicPartnerships #AssalaGabon

  • Assala proudly participated in the Central Africa Business Energy Forum (CABEF) 2024, where we were given the opportunity to showcase our expertise and deep-rooted commitment to Gabon's energy sector.   Edgar MBA OGNANE, Assala Gabon Managing Director, engaged in pivotal discussions, reinforcing our strategic achievements, emphasizing our initiatives in environmental stewardship, and articulating our vision for a sustainable energy future.   We remain dedicated to advancing innovation and fostering collaboration within the energy sector, working towards a positive impact on our communities and the environment.   #CABEF2024 #Sustainability #Gabon #EnergyTransition #AssalaGabon

  • At Assala, safety is more than a priority—it’s a commitment we renew each year on our Safety Day.   Since 2017, this event has championed our dedication to a safe and supportive work environment. This year’s theme, “Managing Health Risks: A Daily Safety Challenge,” underscores the need to raise awareness and actively manage the physical, mental, and environmental risks we encounter every day.   By equipping our teams with the knowledge and tools to recognize and reduce these risks, we are not only enhancing our safety culture but also promoting a healthier, safer workplace for everyone.   #AssalaSafetyDay #HealthAndSafety #HealthRisks #AssalaEnergy

  • This October, at Assala, we stand united to raise awareness and highlight the critical importance of early detection and timely treatment in the fight against female cancers. Our efforts go beyond internal initiatives—we are reaching out to the communities around our production sites, aiming to educate and engage them on this crucial health issue. Breast cancer, along with other female cancers, continues to affect countless lives around the world. But with increased awareness, education, and regular screenings, we can make a real difference. Let’s come together to share knowledge, ignite meaningful conversations, and build a supportive environment for everyone impacted. #AssalaEnergy #BreastCancerAwareness #PinkOctober #SupportTheCause

The ultimate goal is to equip them with valuable, real-world skills and to contribute to building a workforce for the future. #AssalaGabon #LeadersDeDemain #LocalContent

  • 58 outstanding students from the communities around our production sites and offices have been awarded the Assala Excellence Prize. • On the 11th of July, the African Union marks its eighth Anti-Corruption Day, emphasizing the vital role of reporting concerns, as a critical tool in combatting corruption.   Assala prevents corruption and anti-competitive behaviours by encouraging all employees and contractors to Speak up, as the initial step in identifying and resolving an issue.   When we Speak Up, we improve our organisation and cultivate a business culture that unequivocally rejects all forms of corruption. #AssalaEnergy #AACD #SpeakUp
