💡 I've been thinking about key things that could be helpful to my network. One thing came to mind that both hiring managers and job seekers can do to improve their success rate: 👉 Do what you've promised to do. Be true to your word. 👈 That may simply be calling someone at the time diarised, or providing feedback promptly after an interview. It may be arriving for an interview on time. ✅ If you do what you say you're going to do, in the promised timeframe, you demonstrate that you're reliable, trustworthy, and easy to work with. It's actually a really easy way to come across well to the other professionals you're dealing with. ❌ If you don't stick to what you've agreed to, you could appear indecisive, flaky, or unreliable. Especially if you let someone down more than once. Those qualities start to create doubts in the mind of the hiring managers, candidates, or recruiters you're dealing with. You're unlikely to stand out as a top choice once that happens. Now I do understand that everyone can make a genuine mistake from time to time. We can all forget to do something once in a while. What makes a difference is how you deal with your mistakes. 📢 If you genuinely can't stick to what you've promised to do, communicate with the other people involved, promptly. And make sure you don't make the same mistake repeatedly. Can't make a job interview? Don't overthink it until the last minute and then come up with some over-the-top excuse. Cancel or rearrange as soon as possible. Forgot to make a call on time? As soon as you remember, apologise and offer other time slots. 🔇 And whatever you do, don't ghost people who are trying to contact you. It may be embarrassing if you've made an error, but if you face up to your mistakes, you'll end up with a better outcome in the long run. 🤝 #Recruitment #AestheticsRecruitment #SalesRecruitment #AestheticMedicine #MedicalAesthetics
