Today, we want to talk about one of the foundations of life and the biodiversity: SOIL. Farming, feedstocks, material resources... Everything starts here. But how do we protect it? Can we truly safeguard SOIL effectively? Which industry do you think contributes the most to soil pollution? What has the biggest impact on SOIL health? 🛑 WE DISCLOSE: Leather Production Traditional leather production is one of the industries depleting soil at an alarming rate. -Deforestation: Cattle ranching causes 80% of Amazon deforestation, leading to soil erosion and nutrient loss. -Soil Degradation: Livestock grazing for leather uses 70% of global agricultural land, depleting soil and accelerating desertification. -Toxic Pollution: Leather tanning releases chromium and arsenic, contaminating farmland, water sources, and ecosystems. 🌿 How Can We Change This? By rethinking materials, reducing land exploitation, and embracing circular bio-based alternatives, we can protect the soil by preserving its ability to sustain life for future generations. SOIL is where everything begins, and it must be where everything returns safely.
