ADFEST (Official) is a non-profit-making entity that believes passionately in its role to nurture and support the creative industry in the Asia Pacific and MENA region. It is 1 of only 7 regional creative festivals included in the WARC Creative 100 Rankings, 1 of only 12 festivals included in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings, and 1 of 22 awards included in The Drum World Creative Rankings. ADFEST (Official) 2025 was a fantastic experience as a jury member, a speaker and as a creative person. What an honour it was to connect with the brightest minds and decode our evolving cultures together. Perfectly summing up the theme of the year: COLLIDE - a true collision of ideas, brands, minds and opportunities. A special thanks to my fellow jury Sarah Ko Motonori Sugiyama Badong Abesamis phairat uaphadunglert Marcus Tesoriero Tingting Zhang Didi Pirinyuang and our jury president Reed Collins. So many amazing entries across four categories that inspired me deeply. Some amazing connections made along the way Sarah Ko Monica Gambhir Giorgia Fattoracci Deborah Abraham. And the most special discussion with Valerie Madon who brought our views of McCann female creatives of Asia to centre stage with Preet Kaur Barbara Bian. Speaking about the power of the four word feminist manifesto “because I’m worth it” for my brand L'Oréal As a new mom having this experience was truly gratifying as my daughter and I both learnt how to become independent individuals. The general vibe of curiosity towards emerging tech, mixed with creative ambition, truly makes this format a one-of-a-kind experience. Humbled and flattered by the hospitality of the APAC creative community.
