For children living with #disabilities, the barriers to accessing safe and inclusive education are even higher. Through the #SIERP project, we are proud to announce the successful completion of the rehabilitation and modernization of the fourth borehole in Binow Village, Xaraale District. This borehole is part of a series of similar projects we have implemented in various communities, reflecting our commitment to enhancing access to clean, reliable water for underserved populations. 💧 Key Features of the Borehole Rehabilitation. ✅ Construction of an Elevated Water Tank: The new tank, with a capacity of 40 cubic meters (CUM), is designed to ensure a consistent water supply that meets the needs of the local community. ✅ Procurement and Installation of a 30KVA Genset Machine: This state-of-the-art generator guarantees uninterrupted operation of the borehole, providing the community with reliable access to clean and essential water. This achievement stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and our dedication to improving the quality of life for the communities we serve. It also reflects our vision of building a brighter and more sustainable future for all.

Today, Daryeel Bulsho Guud, in collaboration with GESUNDES AFRIKA and funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), conducted the second training session under the initiative Integration, Stabilization, and Capacity Strengthening of IDPs, Returnees, and Host Communities in Somalia. This session continues to focus on supporting community-based peace by holding monthly peace dialogues. This initiative is part of the SEIRP project, aimed at improving water access and supporting resilient communities across Somalia. Key components of the borehole included: ✨ Construction of an elevated water tank with a capacity of 40 (CUM) to provide reliable water storage for the village. ✨ Supply and installation of an advanced 11 KVA submersible water pump, ensuring efficient water extraction and delivery. ✨ Maintenance of two existing animal troughs, promoting sustainable livestock watering and supporting local livelihoods. This project reflects our dedication to rehabilitating essential water sources and fostering sustainable development in Somali communities.
