Our industry has an issue with retaining great female creative talent, and it’s estimated that only 24% of creative directors globally are female. In order to raise awareness and share some practical solutions, we hosted a panel discussion at ADFEST (Official) exploring the intersection of generational and cultural norms and their impact on young female creative talent across Asia. As societies evolve and workplaces become more diverse, it is essential to understand the challenges and opportunities faced by young women in their professional journeys. Today is International Women’s Day #IWD2025, and to celebrate, we collaborated with our IPG sister agencies in Singapore to host the IPG Women's Leadership Network event “Marketing for Change: Empowering Women In Asia”. This brought together industry leaders, media, and NGOs to discuss the role of advertising and marketing in challenging stereotypes, promoting diversity, and inspiring change. Our very own Valerie Madon delivered an inspiring and emotive session celebrating the origins and evolution #LOreal's iconic #BecauseImWorthIt rallying cry showing their latest campaigns across Asia.
