  • To mark Singapore’s 60th year of independence in 2025, we present SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture, an upcoming exhibition by ArtScience Museum in collaboration with mm2 Entertainment and supported by the IMDA. Curated by Cultural Medallion recipient Dick Lee, this immersive multimedia exhibition will celebrate six decades of Singapore’s vibrant pop culture from the 1960s to the 2020s. SingaPop! explores how a young nation of diverse immigrants forged its unique cultural identity by drawing on music, fashion, film and art to create the national fabric of Singapore. “More than a trip through memory lane, SingaPop! will be a dynamic, participatory experience that invites every visitor to consider their own place in Singapore’s unfolding cultural story,” said Honor Harger, Vice President of ArtScience Museum. "Having lived through and been a part of the evolution of our cultural identity in the last 60 years, I'm proud to present this exhibition that showcases who we are: idiosyncratic, colourful and uniquely Singaporean,” said Dick Lee, Creative Director of SingaPop!. The exhibition will nurture a deeper appreciation for our nation’s rich cultural heritage, encouraging visitors to actively engage in the constantly evolving narrative of what makes up the Singaporean identity. #SG60 #MarinaBaySands #SingaPopASM #ArtScienceMuseum

  • Last month, our Team Members gathered at MARQUEE Singapore to celebrate our Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star accolade for The Paiza Collection. We are among four hotels in Singapore to receive this award. It was a joyous occasion and spirits were high as our senior management unveiled the Forbes Travel Guide plaque to resounding applause. We also took the chance to recognise our top frontliners through a certificate presentation, acknowledging their efforts to create world-class experiences and deliver personalised service to our guests. Earlier this week, we had another celebration to commemorate our record US$2 billion in EBITDA last year. Thank you to all 11,900 Team Members for bringing us to new heights and making the past year a spectacular one. We cannot wait to see how the rest of the year unfolds. #MarinaBaySands #ForbesTravelGuide

  • Last Thursday, close to 300 Team Members came together for our inaugural International Women’s Day event, organised by Marina Bay Sands’ all-women employee resource group EmpowHer. Themed ‘Choose to Act, Dare to Accelerate’, the full-day event celebrated and uplifted our female employees with a line-up of activities. The event kicked off with opening remarks by our Chief Operating Officer Paul Town, followed by a special video message from Dr Miriam Adelson, who laid the grounds for the success of Marina Bay Sands together with her late husband and founder of Las Vegas Sands Sheldon Adelson. Team Members joined a fireside chat with Singaporean actress and former Nominated Member of Parliament Janice Koh, who shared about how she embraces life with positivity and happiness. She imparted a wealth of advice, from identifying self-limiting beliefs and developing a set of tools to cope with life’s struggles, to surrounding oneself with a tribe to journey through life’s joys and challenges together. Team Members also indulged in a sumptuous international buffet spread capped with beautiful desserts, before enjoying other activities such as a financial literacy talk helmed by HSBC’s Ashmita Acharya and our Chief Financial Officer Suzie Tan, as well as self-defense and wellness classes, and a retail pop-up by non-profit Singapore Council Of Women's Organisations. To all the women who inspire us every day – thank you. Your strength, resilience, brilliance and contributions make the world a better place every day. #InternationalWomensDay #MarinaBaySands
