SiriusPoint has announced a new strategic partnership with Balance Partners, a North American managing general underwriter. SiriusPoint is a capacity provider for Balance Partners’ new Excess Construction Liability program – Vertical – which underwrites lead and following excess layers of up to $5 million. The program covers tradespeople operating in New York. SiriusPoint has announced today a new strategic partnership with one of the largest independent insurance brokerages in the United States, Holmes Murphy.   SiriusPoint has partnered with Holmes Murphy and its wholly owned subsidiary and managing general agent, Innovative Program Solutions (IPS), to launch a new umbrella excess insurance product exclusively tailored to captives managed by Holmes Murphy and its subsidiary companies. As a carrier partner, SiriusPoint will write this umbrella excess line for captive members on a non-admitted basis.   “Umbrella/excess coverage is a critical need for organizations forced to find ways to address this area of continuously increasing costs,” said Tim Anders, President of IPS. “We are excited to launch this program with SiriusPoint as they bring a wealth of expertise, a proven track-record, and a talented team into this partnership. The collaboration between IPS, SiriusPoint, and multiple Holmes Murphy subsidiaries will deliver solutions for our best-in-class brokerage partners and high-quality, risk-aware insureds.”

Our New York team came together his month to raise over $10,000 for childhood cancer research. Christopher Weitzman, Arthur Walker, Anthony Shapella, and Nestor Lopez shaved their heads in return for sponsorship to help fund critical research and support for children affected by cancer. The event was part of an annual initiative run by the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which was founded in 2000 by three reinsurance professionals who turned the idea into a powerful movement for philanthropy.   Thank you to Jacqueline Iglesias who helped to organize the fundraiser. According to Jacqueline, “The energy in the room was electric as colleagues cheered on four brave ‘shavees’. The spirit of generosity, camaraderie, and commitment was evident throughout the event, showcasing the very best of SiriusPoint’s culture. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and showed their support.”   Well done to everyone involved.
