Royal Visit to Saab in Karlskrona – Showcasing Sweden’s Advanced Naval Capabilities Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel to Saab in Karlskrona. During the visit, Their Royal Highnesses had the opportunity to see the ongoing production of the Blekinge-class submarines (A26), designed to operate in the demanding conditions of the Baltic Sea. We also demonstrated our autonomous vessel control system, Autonomous Ocean Core, showcasing how uncrewed vessels can perform missions such as mine countermeasures, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. Counter-Drone capability in just 84 days The Swedish Air Force (Försvarsmakten), FMV - Försvarets materielverk, and Saab have evaluated a capability designed for detecting and countering hostile drones. "Loke" was developed in just 84 days from concept to field-testing. The collaborative spirit and agile approach employed in developing "Loke" serve as a blueprint for future projects.
