🔬How OPSIS LiquidLINE instruments are used… – Better Fish Farming 🔬 Using too many antibiotics in fish farming can create superbugs that don’t respond to medicine, harm people who eat the fish, and pollute the water. Researchers found that adding ginger residue to black rockfish diets improved growth, boosted immunity, and increased survival against infection. This research suggests ginger can be a natural alternative to antibiotics in fish farming. 🔬How OPSIS LiquidLINE instruments are used… – Improving Fish Industry 🔬 Scientists tested fucoidan, a seaweed compound, to reduce gut inflammation in Atlantic salmon caused by plant-based proteins like soy. They found fucoidan improved gut health and immune response without affecting growth. This could make fish farming more sustainable by allowing more plant-based ingredients in fish feed. 🔬How OPSIS LiquidLINE instruments are used… – Removing Toxic Metals 🔬 Scientists studied how to remove toxic metals (copper and lead) from laboratory waste water using phytoremediation, a method that uses plants to clean pollution. They used the apu-apu plant, which absorbs heavy metals. Most of the metal removal happened early in the process. This research shows that plants can be an effective and natural way to clean contaminated water. Vi har en ny medarbetare på vår produktionsavdelning, Marie Nilsson. Marie har tidigare erfarenhet inom vården som bland annat undersköterska och terapeut, som begravningsentreprenör och på OPSIS logistikmottagning. När möjligheten kom att få jobba på vår produktionsavdelning var inte Marie sen att ta sig an utmaningen. ”Jag hade inte erfarenhet av montörsarbete tidigare så jag känner mig stolt över att jag kan lära mig nya saker och jag lär mig något nytt varje dag. Vad framtiden har att erbjuda ser jag fram emot med spänning.” Som anställd på vår produktionsavdelning jobbar Marie med att montera våra Kjeldahl-instrument. ”Mina arbetsuppgifter som montör är att göra ett så gott arbete jag kan tillsammans med mina kollegor och ta fram en produkt som kunderna är nöjda med och som levererar det dom vill ha.
