As AI-related demands accelerate the need for faster data center deployments, Munters is expanding its facility in Daleville, Virginia, to meet the long-term demand for reliable, energy-efficient cooling. Cooling and heat dissipation account for a major share of a data center’s energy use, making efficiency and sustainability crucial.   “To meet the expanding US market, we are enlarging our Virginia facility, creating a Data Center Technologies production campus. Together with our Texas facility, this will provide nearly 700,000 square feet (65,000 m²) of space dedicated to innovative, energy-efficient data center cooling systems,” says Stefan Aspman, President of the Data Center Technologies business area.   This will consolidate all production activities in Virginia into a single location and includes the construction of a new test laboratory for chillers.
