Another step toward new nuclear in Sweden 🇸🇪 This week, the Swedish government presented a proposal for a state-backed risk-sharing model to support investment in new nuclear power, aiming to reduce financial risk and make it easier to mobilize private capital. We’re glad to see that the proposal opens the door for SMRs to be part of Sweden’s future energy system, and includes mechanisms to cover smaller reactors with pre-loaded fuel, like Blykalla's SEALER. This is great news not only for Blykalla, but for the future of decentralized power generation in Sweden! ⚡ As we prepare to scale next-generation nuclear energy, this strengthens the case for long-term partnerships between industrial actors, investors, and municipalities.
