Building a large-scale #solar park is no small feat. It involves planning preparatory ground work, piling, mounting panels, laying cables, connecting to the grid and a million things more. But the result is so impactful. When we commission the 64 MWp solar park in Hallstavik later this spring, it will be Sweden's largest solar park and it will bring additional renewable electricity to the grid, thanks to a power purchase agreement signed with Axfood. Here’s a glimpse into the construction from last fall. A lot has happened since then, and we're excited to show you the finished product soon. Stay tuned!

‼️ Big news from the Nordics: Alight and Autoliv have signed the largest Finnish solar power purchase agreement (#PPA) announced to date. This PPA ensures the construction of a brand new #solar park by securing long-term revenue through a stable electricity contract, while helping Autoliv achieve its sustainability goals. When completed in 2026, the 100 MWp solar park in Eurajoki will generate around 100 GWh of clean electricity annually — enough to power 20,000 households. It’s a win-win for climate and business. Autoliv, a global leader in automotive safety, gets a predictable supply of renewable energy. Finland gets a significant boost in solar capacity. ☀️ More solar on the Swedish grid! Our 13 MWp #solar park in Nättraby, Blekinge is now up and running. This solar park is made possible by H&M Group, who has signed a long-term power purchase agreement to buy the clean electricity produced, and by Infranode. 💡 Why is #solar power booming in the Nordics? Because it’s low cost, fast to build, and the perfect complement to wind. Finland has recently installed a lot of wind power, and when wind production surges, electricity prices drop. But when it’s calm, prices spike. Enter solar: a stabilizing force that produces when wind typically doesn’t, especially during the long summer days in the Nordics. On an annual basis, the anti-correlation is significant: 60% of Finland’s wind power is generated between October and March, while solar production peaks in summer. This seasonal pattern helps balance the grid and makes solar #PPAs increasingly attractive for energy-intensive businesses.
