Field Merchandiser – Bucharest, Romania

Promate – an award-winning global leader in mobile, IT, audio, wearable, and gaming accessories – is seeking a Field Merchandiser to enhance brand visibility and product excellence across key retail locations in Bucharest.

Position Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Promate products are optimally displayed, well-stocked, and effectively promoted in retail stores. You will conduct regular store visits, implement merchandising strategies, collaborate with retail staff, and provide product training to enhance sales performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product availability, organization, and visibility.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key retail staff.

• Gather and relay market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.

• Execute merchandising plans, including product displays, signage, and adherence to planograms.

• Train retail staff on Promate products to enhance their knowledge and sales effectiveness.

• Monitor stock levels, identify replenishment needs, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability.

• Support promotional activities and ensure in-store compliance with brand merchandising guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive and independent work style.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to retail challenges.

• Willingness to travel regularly to various retail locations (by car or public transport).

• Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).

• Prior experience in consumer electronics, IT accessories, or home appliances is a plus.
