Global Sharpers Bucharest Hub is glad to host a unique event within Climate Change Summit 2024, organized by Social Innovation Solutions. The workshop "Once Upon a Time: From Eco-Anxiety to Climate Inspiration" held by Meta Pezdir aims to address climate-related anxiety among youth. Meta P. is a passionate advocate for sustainable development, with over a decade of experience in sustainability projects. She is the founder of Lilalab, one of the Slovenian coordinators for the EU Horizon 2020 project PSLifestyle, a Climate-KIC climate coach, and also a Climate Reality Leader. The event will take place on the 16th of October, from 18:30, at SIS HQ in Bucharest. We are offering a limited amount of seats to this workshop, so please make sure to register as early as possible. This week, the shapers of our hub had the privilege to meet with Dr. Adriana Cioca, MBA, M.A. and Frank Loeffler, President and Vice-President of CCE-R | Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Romania and discuss about our current and future projects and objectives. Having such support will be crucial to our mission to positively shape our local communities and the world. And with our hub’s mission being closely correlated with the World Economic Forum ’s objectives, we strongly believe that the support of Swiss companies in Romania will be a fantastic asset.
