Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming five colleagues from CGM Italy, Costa Volpino – part of the DaVinci and Hack teams – for 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢t to Iași, Romania. These reunions are now a tradition in the CGM Stella – Pharmacy universe: sometimes we go to Italy, sometimes they come to us, but every time 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥. 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 is 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐛 𝐚𝐩𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐈 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. The application is supposed to be one stop shop for all day-to-day activities like selling pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products, managing stock, customers, vendors, providing data analytics and integrate pharmacy specific hardware. This time, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨: -       Prepare the roadmap for the next quarter -       Define key user stories -       Build improvement plans -       Set goals for what's coming 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧: 𝐃𝐚𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 – led by Alexandra Chircu: Cristina Oancea, Silviu Pascariu, Emil Oprea, Bianca Savin, and our Italian guests Ivan 𝐿𝑖𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑖, 𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑓𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑎 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑖𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝐴𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑖 – Simone was visiting Romania for the very first time. 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 – led by Alexandru Covasa: Robert Ciubotariu, Stefan Amariucai, Alexandru Nistor, and our first time in Romania Italian guests 𝑁𝑖𝑐𝑜𝑙 𝐺𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑖 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑖𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝐹𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑠. And because great work comes easier when we enjoy being together, our Romanian colleagues made sure 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: dinners out, warm hospitality, and even symbolic gift baskets with a taste of Romanian tradition. This week, more colleagues from Italy are joining us, while others from Romania are travelling there. And we’re not stopping here – in early June, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐐𝐀𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐲, where our very own Alexandra is planning a special edition of our famous Bug Hunt (stay tuned for updates – we promise action, hunting bugs, and glory). These face-to-face meetings are more than just a calendar item – 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲. Together, 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡. One sprint, one story, and one pasta dish at a time.

#LeadersOfCGM series continues. Meet Alex Pasaila — .NET Developer, Team Lead, Functional Lead, passionate traveler, gamer, and soon-to-be tennis comeback star. Alex has been with CGM for 5 years, where he grew step by step from developer to leader, guided by one principle he swears by: “𝑊𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛’𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑎 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟.” But Alex is much more than just code and leadership. He almost became a 𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 — his first love — before choosing IT, where he excelled early on, thanks to countless Olympiads and competitions. He now balances two worlds daily: tech at work and healthcare at home, with his wife being a successful doctor. Together, they are 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 — just like we do at CGM. Outside work? You’ll likely find Alex on a plane (somewhere far from tourist traps) or in front of a console playing 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧'𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝. And when he's not doing any of that, he’s probably 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 (like the next one for Easter in Japan) or, who knows, his return to 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬. We’re kicking off our Leaders of CGM series with someone who’s got 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐍𝐀, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 — meet Andrei Zahariea, Team Leader for the CLICKDOC Patient Apps team and one of our employee reps. Andrei’s been 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟕 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 (and counting), 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟑. He’s an 𝐢𝐎𝐒 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 through and through — the kind who fell in love with Apple tech during a university project and never looked back. Android? Let’s just say… 𝑖𝑡’𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑. When his VP asked if he’d consider becoming a Team Leader, Andrei’s first thought was: “𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠?”. Spoiler: YES, HE COULD. And now? He wouldn’t hesitate to say yes all over again. Why? After 24 years in the same company, Holger Wess made a bold move: seven months ago, he joined CompuGroup Medical as 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫. Last week, our CGM Software Romania hub in Iași was buzzing with energy as we welcomed colleagues from Germany and across Romania for a few 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Together with 2 of our Vice Presidents, Adrian Barna and Loredana Armanu, around 30 experts from the EOS, MDA, and Medicenter projects came together to discuss the objectives for this year of 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐬, the platform that reunites some of our top healthcare applications, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐱 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. A special thanks to Tobias Schäfer, Mohamed Elmawazini, Felix Horn, Artem Liman and David Marquant, who joined us from Germany for these productive days. Tobias led the way in unveiling the 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐩 and the plan for each team and application. He called it “𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫” - 𝑎 𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝐴𝐼 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑠 𝑤𝑒 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑖𝑡. Like always, meetings like this are more than just presentations. They’re about aligning, bonding, and finding the drive to 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲. Now, with a clear vision, fresh motivation, and a shared purpose, our teams are back to work, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. His expertise, wisdom, and energy make him 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐆𝐌'𝐬 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬. Whenever a business unit needs guidance, Emil is there, delivering engaging trainings, offering the right solutions, and bringing teams closer together. This time, his journey took him to Koblenz, the birthplace of CGM nearly 40 years ago. Last evening, our brilliant QAs put their skills to the test in an intense technical showdown: 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐠. Organized masterfully by our own 𝐐𝐀 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 Alexandra Haleța & Costina-Elena Judele, the event challenged six teams to crack codes, solve riddles, and, of course, hunt down that elusive bug. After 30 minutes of fierce teamwork, we heard the first triumphant "𝑊𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑖𝑡!". And so, the top QA detectives of the night were crowned: 🥇 First place: Bianca Ioana Bălteanu & Oana Camelia Agafitei 🥈 Second place: Anemaria Ciobotaru & Andrei Lefter 🥉 Third place: Larisa Berar & Ana-Maria Gheorghiu But beyond the competition, the real win was the energy, creativity, and sheer dedication that Alexandra and Costina put into this event. They transformed the space into a 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞, complete with personalized case files, thematic decorations, and a detective-style atmosphere. (𝐹𝑢𝑛 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑡: Alexandra once dreamed of becoming a police officer - well, last night she finally caught some "bad guys"). Another epic round of our International Technical Quiz sessions is in the books. A huge shoutout to Catalin Feidi, our amazing 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐆𝐌 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚, for putting together a General Tech edition that 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦.
