The Green Recruitment Company has been partnered with a Leading IPP in the search of a Sales Engineer with expertise in wind, PV, and battery technologies to join the talented team in Portugal.
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage markets.
Act as a technical expert to advise clients on the best energy solutions based on their needs and requirements.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet client specifications and requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
Assist in the preparation of commercial offers, contracts, and negotiations.
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to project implementation.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in the wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage industries.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s solutions.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales, with a focus on renewable energy (wind, PV, and/or battery storage).
Strong technical knowledge of wind energy, photovoltaic systems, and battery storage solutions.
Experience in designing or configuring energy solutions and conducting technical analyses.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
Willingness to travel within Portugal and occasionally abroad to meet clients and attend events.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
