Teaches students necessary skills for SQL development and guides students through several hands-on projects
Conducts individual student consultations as needed
Monitors and improves course curriculum when necessary
Undergoes additional training and certification as needed
Other tasks that may arise related to the instructor role
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, IT, or related fields;
No teaching experience required, however, it will be beneficial if you have at least 1 year experience as a SQL developer or SQL development instructor; facilitator, mentor, speaker, trainer, and the like.
Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python/Perl, HTML and CSS, Program a browser (like using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, or Vue) Program a server (like using PHP, ASP, Python, or Node)
Has a passion for teaching and is comfortable teaching non-IT majors;
Excellent communication skills (English and Filipino) and classroom management skills;
Must have a stable internet connection (ideally above 10-35 mbps) and a working laptop/ personal computer with a webcam and headphones;
Must have an allotted conducive teaching environment
