Head of Engineering

We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the strategic and operational efficiency of our engineering and data teams. This role combines deep technical leadership with operational excellence, focusing on implementing the right systems, tools, and data workflows to optimize team performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering management, workforce analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, with a sharp focus on streamlining processes, enabling scalable development, and aligning technical execution with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Change Management: Lead organizational and process improvements to enhance adaptability and team efficiency
• Tech Stack Optimization: Evaluate and refine engineering and data tools to streamline workflows and remove redundancy
• Data Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Jira, Tableau, and SQL to gain insights on performance, project velocity, and resource allocation
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Align engineering with product, HR, and operations to drive cohesive execution
• Workforce Analysis: Monitor productivity and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Knowledge Management: Build systems for documentation and knowledge-sharing to reduce onboarding time and avoid institutional knowledge loss
• Mentorship & Training: Partner with HR to create programs that support upskilling and career growth
• Tool & System Evaluation: Continuously assess and implement tools that improve collaboration, automation, and reporting.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years in engineering leadership, productivity operations, or technical program management
• Strong background in data analytics, strategic planning, and operational improvement
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or SQL
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce is a plus
