𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: NDC Joins the Observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women On December 12, 2024, NDC concluded the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women with a series of impactful activities aimed at promoting a deeper understanding of gender-based violence and fostering a more inclusive environment for all. The campaign kicked off with engaging IEC materials from the Philippine Commission on Women presented during the monthly townhall. During this session, the male employees of NDC also participated in the Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE) Pledge, committing to take a stand against gender-based violence and support gender equality. Among the other activities were Brown Bag Sessions led by the Legal Department. These covered vital topics such as Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), Anti-Sexual Harassment, the Data Privacy Act, and Freedom of Information which provided employees valuable insights on these critical issues. NDC employees also took part in film screenings that highlighted the prevalence of VAWC in society. The films provided a clearer understanding of the issue and sparked important conversations among employees about how to address and prevent gender-based violence. Through continuous awareness-raising initiatives in gender and development, NDC remains dedicated to promoting gender inclusivity and creating safe spaces for all. #NDC #EndVAW #GenderEquality #GenderInclusivity #Genderand Development #Development
