A huge shout out to Jobs and Skills Hub Hawke's Bay for arranging such a great Trades Expo last week with 22 stall holders and over 200 attendees. It was so good to meet candidates, several of whom will move through to an interview with us which is a fantastic outcome from this awesome event. The interactive stalls, mix of training providers, employers and motivated candidates made the event really worthwhile. This is exactly what we need for our community. #tūpore #community #civilinfrastructure

We are so happy to have been able to help out Raureka kura recently following Tumuaki Keryn Burns reaching out to us due to ongoing safety concerns outside the school. Cars kept parking on the yellow lines making it tricky for road patrollers to see oncoming traffic which was creating a hazardous situation for their tamariki. This visual deterrent is now supporting the school to prevent illegal parking and improving safety for the students and their whānau. Thanks so much to Keryn for giving us the opportunity to support the kura and for providing permission for the use of this image in our post. #tūpore #safety #communitymatters

Fantastic recognition of our approach to Health and Wellbeing at the Site Safe New Zealand Inc awards this week. We really try to live up to our name and it's really pleasing when the values we display get this sort of recognition from the broader industry. #TūporeProud #TūporeWhānau

This morning, we were thrilled to share with our team the positive uplift in work which has come about from the hard mahi our team has done to tender for and get projects across the line. It's awesome to see the light at the end of the tunnel after a challenging time in the civil infrastructure space! We were also able to share news of our shiny new bitumen sprayer which has a 12,000 litre tank, telescopic booms and a cloud-based system which sends live information back to head office. We are ready to rock'n'roll and the whole team is excited to shift gear and get into the mahi ahead. #tūpore #civilinfrastructure #teamwork

We’re excited to share that the Tūpore group is gearing up for an exhilarating event that not only embodies the spirit of teamwork and fun but also supports a noble cause close to our hearts. We’re talking about the 2025 Grand Annual Jolly Good Chaps Napier to Wellington 50cc Scooter Charity Challenge. The Jolly Good Chaps Charitable Trust is a spirited group of Hawke’s Bay lads dedicated to raising funds for local community groups, projects, and causes while creating a lasting community fund that will benefit Hawke’s Bay for generations to come. They believe in combining charity with good cheer and have a jolly good time doing it! Last year, two of our brave Tūpore staff members took on this somewhat torturous but utterly rewarding challenge, inspiring such enthusiasm among our colleagues that we’ve now expanded our team to an adventurous group of seven! They’re ready to put their skills (and their backsides) to the test for an exhilarating 7-10 hours of scooting goodness on March 1st, all in the name of raising vital funds for charity. The team would be thrilled to receive any support possible as part of this remarkable journey! Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact and helps our team to move closer to our fundraising goals. Funds raised empower local charities but also create a ripple effect of positive change in our community. We are very proud of the hard mahi our teams are doing to further progress the Hastings District Council - Te Kaunihera ā-Rohe o Heretaunga cyclone recovery works across multiple sites. Despite the challenges which were presented in 2024 we made a conscious decision to retain all field staff and take time to upskill our team which has really paid off! We are thrilled to welcome Johan Kruger and Eon de Klerk to our infrastructure team bringing with them years of industry experience which positions us well for a strong year ahead. #tūpore #civilconstruction #cyclonerecovery

Ngā mihi Jobs and Skills Hub Hawke's Bay for your generosity in providing a venue for our "Build the Team Day" this week. This day was super beneficial to our team who had the opportunity to be off the tools for a whole day to refresh their training and learn new things at our various education stations. Our team enjoyed a jam-packed day of upskilling covering hazardous substances, pre-starts, ISO quality, health and safety, trailers and loads, manual handling and line services. We are also very proud to be supporting our employees with medical insurance and a new health and wellness initiative for 2025. We are excited about the year ahead and wish all businesses a happy and prosperous 2025! #tūpore #civilconstruction #buildtheteam
