Interesting to see that NZ veteran journalist Sean Plunket has made it to Israel for the first time. We hope he has an enlightening, safe trip and gets to check what makes Israel the 'startup nation'.
Duncan Garner catches up with Sean Plunket from Israel. Sean discusses experiencing an air raid, the Iron Dome, his conversation with a member of the Palestinian Authority, and more.

😮Israel's Wiz acquired by Alphabet Inc. for 33 billion USD😮 This is incredible. After previously knocking back the acquisition for 23 billion, Google's parent company has acquired Wiz for 33 billion. Talk about sweaty hands! Kol Hakavod to the negotiators. It's the most valuable exit in Israeli high-tech history. More than double the acquisition of Mobileye in 2017 (15.3 billion).

How awesome is this?! On RNZ the other day, science correspondent Allan Blackman reported on "a new part of the immune system that's been discovered, and how it could be a goldmine of potential antibiotics." And guess what, the scientists who discovered this incredible solution to the problem of antibiotic resistance are Israeli researchers. Well done and great to see positive news from Israel making its way to NZ. https://lnkd.in/gV2QgU69

🏆 Complete this leadership survey and win!🏆 The New Zealand Israel Innovation Hub hopes to facilitate a leadership workshop later this year. We want to tailor the event to ensure it delivers and is relevant to the business environment today. To ensure we'll get it right, we are asking NZ leaders to complete a short 2-minute survey about the challenges they are facing. Anybody can complete this 10-question survey, but it is especially relevant to CXOs, managing directors and executive leaders. Everyone who completes this survey will go into the running to win a dinner-for-two at Tok Tok Kitchen at Takapuna - our favourite Auckland restaurant at the Hub. The winner will be announced in early March. Thanks in advance. The team at the New Zealand Israel Innovation Hub.
