  • 🚚 What are Landed Costs in Your Supply Chain? 💰 Landed cost is the true price of getting a product from its origin to your customer's doorstep. It's not just about the price on the invoice, but includes everything: shipping, customs duties, taxes, insurance, handling fees, and any other costs along the way. 💡 Why is it Important? Knowing your landed costs helps ensure your business isn't running at a loss and avoids financial surprises! It allows for better budgeting, cost analysis, and supply chain optimization. 4 Key Factors to Consider When Calculating Landed Costs: 💙Product Costs: Raw materials, manufacturing, and profit margin. 💙Freight Costs: Transportation, origin handling, customs clearance, and destination fees. 💙Customs Duties & Taxes: Regulatory fees that apply to imports/exports. 💙Insurance Costs: Protects against loss, theft, or damage. 🔍 How Can Mainfreight Help? Turning waste into wins! ♻️ Contractors fill bags with used shrink wrap and drop them at their local Mainfreight depot. From there, they’re loaded onto a linehaul unit to Hobsonville, where the team at GoodWrap Recycling collects them. Easy to stow, no stress on space or timeframes — and even better, that wrap gets a second life. A simple move making a big impact.

  • At Mainfreight, caring about our community, environment, and people is important. One of the ways we do this is by creating sustainable buildings that care for the environment for the long term. From solar power and energy-efficient systems to water conservation and electric vehicle infrastructure, we’re building for the future, today. 🌍💡

  • Our Australian fleet is getting bigger! Bigger trucks mean transporting more freight with fewer vehicles and increasing efficiency. This expansion helps streamline operations, reduce congestion and ensure we can meet the increasing demand for reliable freight services 💙
