It was wonderful to celebrate with The Aotearoa Circle team, partners and friends at Parliament last night for their annual hui. We heard from James Palmer, Secretary for the Environment, about the Ministry for the Environment's 2025 Our Environment Report and Simon Watts, Minister for Climate Change, also shared updates. We also discussed the Circle's current workstreams, including the critical Future Fit Shipping and Natural Capital Regional Resilience work programmes. Chapman Tripp is proud of its long-standing pro bono partnership with the Circle. 2025 will see our sixth collaboration with the Circle, as we work to identify legal and regulatory barriers to investment in nature, and how the Circle can play its part in developing solutions. We look forward to sharing more details later this year.
