In March, we announced our biggest investment in Norway in 10 years—NOK 1.65 billion for a new wire rod casthouse at Karmøy, strengthening Europe’s energy infrastructure. We also signed a long-term power purchase agreement with NTE for 660 GWh of renewable power, securing energy for our aluminium production. Construction kicked off on a EUR 180 million recycling plant in Spain, boosting Europe’s circular economy. And TIME’s Greatest Places 2025 list featured “Trosten,” a floating sauna built with Hydro CIRCAL, proving that sustainable design can stand out on the world stage.
