Today we are delighted to drop Episode 1 of our "Connecting Greece with the Future" series! Under this brand new initiative, our friend Akis Temperidis from the World Off Road is travelling to remote areas of Greece to install high speed Starlink connectivity wherever connectivity is limited. At each location, Akis also organizes environmental actions involving the local communities. In this first trip, Akis visited Xiromero, home to the largest oak forest in Greece. The Starlink unit has already enabled vital new services like electronic prescriptions in the local medical facility, and while he was there Akis held a seminar on local flora along with a forest clean up with the areas' school children.
