He explained: “We cannot invent a new shrimp, develop a new cod, or produce a new halibut. However, we can cultivate seaweed and sell it through our existing global sales network; hence seaweed can also be a growth catalyst for new products.” Seaweed perfectly aligns with our sustainability profile and reinforces our focus on ocean health, especially around Greenland. 🎉 As a trailblazer in the seaweed industry, Kristian has been instrumental in bringing this resource to the northern european market. At Royal Greenland, he continues to innovate by unlocking the potential of overlooked resources, transforming them into high-value products that contribute to our sustainability standards.
