Be part of a greener future and sign up for our Log Saw Recycling Program. TKM recycles used Log Saw Blades, which has many advantages for the environment. The used Log Saw Blades are collected from the customer and the steel mill uses them to produce the steel for new Log Saw Blades. In detail: The high-quality D2 steel consists of Iron, a high amount of Chromium as well as Vanadium and Molybdenum. The iron is extracted from iron ore with a high Energy consumption. The iron ore comes mainly from South Africa, Brazil and Australia, which means enormous transport distances. The most important chromium, vanadium and molybdenum mines are also located far away from Europe, which means long transport distances as well. The processing into a usable alloy is also complex. This enables us to achieve a Europe-wide reduction of 74.83 kg of Co2 per produced log saw blade. 🚀 𝐑ü𝐜𝐤𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐮𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧🚀 Letzte Woche hatten wir das Vergnügen, an der Connect 2025 in Wermelskirchen teilzunehmen. Die Ausbildungsmesse war eine fantastische Gelegenheit, sich mit jungen Talenten auszutauschen und die vielfältigen Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten in unserem Unternehmen zu präsentieren. Die Veranstaltung war ein großer Erfolg und hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Unsere Auszubildenden waren auch am Stand vertreten und haben ihre Erfahrungen und ihr Wissen direkt mit den SchülerInnen geteilt. Die Möglichkeit, sich einen Schlüsselanhänger mit seinem Namen selber zu gravieren, war ein Highlight für viele BesucherInnen. Vielen Dank an die tolle Organisation!
