Did you know that Stinis spreaders can be equipped with the option of a manual landing pin release? This is an ideal system for maintenance of your spreader. By pressing the manual release pin on top of the endbeam it's possible to manually release the landing pins of your spreader. If the twistlocks can nt rotate by themself anymore it is possible to connect a manual pump to the spreader. Stinis Double Collared Twistlocks The twistlock is one of the most important parts of a spreader. All the forces from the container, weight, acceleration, deceleration and impact, will go through the twistlock, this means it has to be reliable, strong, safe and durable. The special shape of the twistlock will absorb the incoming forces and reroute them into the head beam construction of the spreader. The safety factor of the twistlock is chosen in a way that the twistlock is a safe and reliable device with high load cycles. One of the key advantages of our twistlocks is that they can be fully assembled without screw thread. This makes mounting and dismounting very easy and reduces corrosion, and risks of fracture.
