Square Floating City (SFC) offers a groundbreaking solution to two of the greatest challenges of the 21st century: land shortages and rising sea levels. With a bold and innovative approach, we empower coastal cities worldwide to expand sustainably and efficiently onto the water. Backed by over 14 years of research and development, SFC designs seaworthy, modular floating housing blocks that can be manufactured in a highly automated environment. Starting with one or more blocks, a climate-adaptive floating district can be scaled up to hundreds of blocks. In just six years, a floating city spanning 1 km² and accommodating 30,000 residents can be built and implemented anywhere in the world.
