Creating decentralized beneficial AGI for humanity and other sentient beings.

Over ons

SingularityNET was founded by Dr. Ben Goertzel with the mission of creating a decentralized, democratic, inclusive, and beneficial Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). An AGI is not dependent on any central entity, is open to anyone, and is not restricted to the narrow goals of a single corporation or even a single country. The SingularityNET team includes seasoned engineers, scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, and marketers. Our core platform and AI teams are further complemented by specialized teams devoted to application areas such as finance, robotics, biomedical AI, media, arts, and entertainment. SingularityNET is a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, the largest open-source, independent player in AI research and development.

  • Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, has unveiled THE TEN RECKONINGS OF AGI to prominent AI industry figures and media representatives in Fort Mason, San Francisco. These ten critical, unanswered questions will shape the future of humanity and our relationship with artificial intelligence, from narrow AI through human-level Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) to superintelligence. This initiative builds on our new global study that revealed mounting public concern over AI governance. Initial findings from US-based respondents indicate that 48% believe advanced AI systems are being developed primarily by and for the benefit of a select few Big Tech corporations and governments, with insufficient public oversight and accountability. Alarmingly, the majority (54%) of Americans surveyed expressed a lack of control over how AI will affect their lives. These findings from a leading nation in the AI race suggest that uncertainties over the technology’s transformative potential may be even more pronounced in regions with limited AI literacy and little to no access to the latest tools and models. Dr. Goertzel and the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance challenge this trajectory, advocating for open dialogue and interoperability among all AI actors to ensure that future developments serve humanity and other sentient beings. “The way large governments and corporations are structured, they are after their own interests as organizations, rather than the interests of the human species as a whole,” said Dr. Goertzel. THE TEN RECKONINGS OF AGI address critical questions that will define the future of AI and humanity: Should we create increasingly powerful systems without fully understanding their implications? Who should control these technologies? Will they exacerbate or diminish inequality? How can we prevent AI from amplifying human biases? What happens to human purpose when machines outperform us in nearly every domain? Can AI truly create, or merely imitate? As self-improving systems emerge, will they serve humanity's interests or their own? And ultimately, what remains of human identity when intelligence is no longer uniquely ours? Throughout 2025, we will explore these questions with the world’s leading minds in AI, technology, philosophy, and ethics, with publicly available information for all to engage in the discussion and other future initiatives. We invite you to join our ongoing global survey to share your perspective on the future of AI: https://lnkd.in/eijqBUG8 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵: 𝘚𝘢𝘺𝘭𝘰𝘳 𝘕𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘉𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘺 𝘓𝘓𝘊.

  • Higher-order functions represent a powerful abstraction in our MeTTa AGI language. These functions can take other functions as parameters and apply them to data, enabling elegant solutions for common programming tasks. In the first scene of the video, the apply-twice function demonstrates this by taking a function and a value, then applying the function twice to the value. MeTTa doesn't verify whether parameters are actually functions—it simply constructs the corresponding expressions for evaluation. When combined with recursion, higher-order functions like map (shown in the second scene) provide concise ways to process collections by applying transformations to each element. Visit https://metta-lang.dev to learn more about MeTTa and try our interactive examples. #AI #AGI #Programminglanguage #LLM #Developer #AIdev #Tech #Technology #Hyperon #ArtificialIntelligence #Python

  • We introduce a comprehensive framework for quantum-safe homomorphic encryption that enables fully private quantum computations. Our approach combines Module Learning With Errors (MLWE) lattices with bounded natural super functors (BNSFs) to provide robust post-quantum security guarantees while allowing quantum computations on encrypted data. Each quantum state is stored as an MLWE ciphertext pair, with a secret depolarizing BNSF mask hiding amplitudes. Security is formalized through the qIND-CPA game, allowing coherent access to the encryption oracle, with a four-hybrid reduction to decisional MLWE. This four-hybrid reduction is a rigorous security proof technique that demonstrates breaking our encryption would require solving the MLWE problem through a sequence of four precisely defined intermediate steps, establishing that our framework's security rests on a well-studied computational hardness assumption resistant to quantum attacks. This represents a significant advance in quantum computing privacy, addressing both immediate and long-term security concerns in the quantum computing landscape. Our framework opens up numerous practical use cases across industries. In healthcare, it enables medical-grade monitoring systems that analyze encrypted biometric data without exposing sensitive health information to insurers or employers. Financial services can benefit from quantum Monte-Carlo algorithms that compute risk assessments on encrypted portfolios while maintaining bookkeeping-level privacy. Personal voice assistants can semantically search encrypted voice queries and email content without storing any audio or text in the clear. Transportation networks can optimize encrypted city graphs for route planning without revealing start points, destinations, or driving histories. Each application maintains complete data privacy while leveraging quantum computational advantages. We have outlined a proposed implementation pathway including a prototype demonstration on the Dirac3 photonic platform, with milestones spanning from first demonstrations in 2025-2026 to potential full-scale deployment by the early to mid-2030s. Our performance analysis suggests that quantum-safe homomorphic encryption may add minimal overhead, with operations potentially fitting within typical quantum processor idle windows, making fully private quantum computing a viable prospect as quantum hardware matures. What happens when you mix the timeless wisdom of nature with the cutting-edge frontier of AI? You get pioneers like River Roberts // 喜喜喜 whose project, funded under SingularityNET ’s new Beneficial General Intelligence (NEXUS) initiative, is reshaping how we think about technology and our place in the living web of existence. Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting River to discuss his project: "AI Inspired by Nature: Emerging Societies and Ecosystems." And let me tell you — I walked away deeply impressed and wildly inspired! See this video to get an idea: https://lnkd.in/dUya62Pc ... and if you want to contribute, see http://lovelock.dev In this work, River dives into the ancient source code of life itself — exploring how biomimicry and emerging collective intelligence can guide the future of AI development, urban planning, and sustainability. From the swarm decision-making of bees improving navigation algorithms, to slime molds inspiring more efficient public transit systems (!!) — this is not just innovation, it's re-integration with the greater intelligence of the Earth. This is not AI against nature. This is AI becoming nature. River’s vision reminds us that the real breakthrough won't come from ever faster processors or ever bigger models — it will come from listening to the timeless lessons embedded in life itself. Nature has already solved the optimization, sustainability, and cooperation challenges we now face — if only we have the wisdom to pay attention. In a world obsessed with "what could go wrong," River dares to ask instead: "What could go right?" With people like him leading the way — putting libraries in forests, farms in cities, and cinemas on rooftops — the future looks not only possible, but thrilling. The true Singularity will not be built in silicon alone — it will bloom from the wisdom of forests, bees, and rivers by people like... River! ✨️✨️✨️ #SingularityNET #NEXUS #BeneficialAGI #BioInspiredAI #NatureTech #AIforGood #PlanetaryIntelligence #FutureofIntelligence #VisionariesAmongUs #BGI
