We’re pleased to announce that our net-zero targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)! ✅ The SBTi is a global body that drives change by helping companies align their emissions targets with the latest climate science. Having our targets validated by SBTi reinforces the credibility of our roadmap and holds us accountable to real, science-based change. This is an important milestone on our journey to a more sustainable future – one where we’re committed to doing business in a way that respects people and planet. On our path to reaching net-zero by 2050, our targets include reducing emissions by 57% across Scope 1 & 2 and over 30% across Scope 3 by 2030. By 2050, we aim to reduce our absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 90%. This is in line with the 1.5 degrees Celsius pathway of the Paris Agreement to keep global warming below 1.5 📉 Our Science-Based Targets guide our roadmap to reducing our carbon footprint and boosting sustainability across our global markets: 🏢 Renewable energy and efficient buildings 🤝 Engaging our suppliers 🚗 Sustainable mobility & travel Up next, we’re aiming to cut nearly all of our carbon emissions by 2050 – across our offices, travel, and supply chain – and our 2030 targets are the next big step on that journey. As always, sustainability is at the heart of our strategy – we’re grateful to all our colleagues across the world who are working with us every day to help make meaningful change on the road to net-zero.
