Last Saturday, 30 colleagues proudly took part in the 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, walking in support of KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society). Guided by a shared mission and incredible spirit, we moved through the heart of Rotterdam — past iconic landmarks and vibrant streets — united in our purpose: 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿. Thanks to the unwavering support from our team, friends, and families, we successfully raised €𝟳.𝟭𝟳𝟰 for cancer research. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, encouraged, and stood with us. MS Amlin Marine Academy Insurance Course 2025 – What a Week! Our Marine Academy Insurance Course 2025 has officially concluded after a dynamic and insightful week in Rotterdam. From deep dives into cargo, hull, P&I, charterers’ liability, reinsurance, and claims handling to exploring emerging risks and maritime legislation, participants gained a well-rounded understanding of the marine insurance landscape. A huge thank you to our expert speakers for sharing their knowledge, and to all participants for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the sessions, case studies, and discussions. The week wasn’t all work - networking dinners and a scenic boat excursion through the Rotterdam harbour added a special touch, making this not just a learning experience, but a memorable one. As maritime tradition dictates, the melting ice of the Baltic Sea around the 20th February each year signalled the start of a new shipping season, bringing with it the renewed need for P&I insurance. This milestone has endured, making the date the established renewal date for P&I cover. To mark the occasion, MS Amlin Marine’s P&I team in Rotterdam hosted an internal lunch yesterday, while our Paris colleagues gathered with clients for an after-work event featuring drinks and appetisers.
