We’ve been reflecting on the incredible reception we had earlier this week following #TPM25 in Long Beach, where we had the opportunity to celebrate the milestone launch of DCSA+ and look ahead to a bright future for our industry. It was an honor to have the Port of Los Angeles as our co-host, and we extend our gratitude to our event sponsors BlueCargo, The Maritime Professor® , and Wabtec Corporation for their invaluable support. We were also delighted to host stakeholders from across the shipping and supply chain community, including our first DCSA+ partners, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Vinturas. The event provided a fantastic platform to connect with industry leaders, exchange insights, and explore ways to collaborate in driving innovation and accelerating digital standards across the sector. A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a success! We are excited to continue strengthening our network and working together to shape the future of digital shipping—building a more seamless, resilient, and efficient supply chain. Advance Manifest Filing: Know the term, avoid the trouble. In global shipping, what you don’t know can cost you. Advance Manifest Filing is a crucial compliance step for ocean carriers and Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCCs) — required before cargo even leaves the port of loading. Why? To help customs authorities assess threats, mitigate risks, and ensure safe cargo movement across borders. From denied boarding to blacklisted exporters, the consequences of non-compliance are real. 📦 If you're in digital logistics, freight forwarding, or container shipping — this one’s for you. 🔁 Swipe through the visual below to learn about Advance Manifest Filing. #SupplyChainCompliance #OceanShipping #DigitalLogistics #GlobalTrade #ShippingStandards #DCSA

We’re proud to announce that DCSA’s Track & Trace (T&T) Standard is now ready for use in the Port of Rotterdam – a major step forward in enhancing container tracking and visibility at one of the world’s busiest ports. This achievement is the result of close collaboration between Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, Portbase (Rotterdam’s Port Community System), and Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA), as part of the Netherlands’ Digital Infrastructure Logistics (DIL) Programme. Already supporting over 180 million monthly tracking events, our T&T standard covers 75% of global container shipping volume. This announcement further confirms its status as the de facto T&T standard for the global container shipping ecosystem. We look forward to deepening our partnerships across the Netherlands and beyond – advancing the widespread adoption of digital standards across the global supply chain. 📈 𝐞𝐁𝐋 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 According to the Future International Trade (FIT) Alliance’s 2024 eBL survey, 49% of respondents now use electronic Bills of Lading (eBLs) — either exclusively or alongside paper BLs. That’s a near 50% rise from 2022, signaling a strong shift toward digital trade enablement. Who’s leading the way? ➡️ Solution providers (44%) and ship agents (33%) top the list for eBL-only use ➡️ Terminals (77%) and seaports (100%) show the highest overall adoption ➡️ Carriers and charterers/shippers (both at 74%) are clearly embracing the shift But financial institutions are still catching up — just 21% of banks currently support eBLs, pointing to the need for regulatory clarity and cross-sector collaboration. 👉 Explore the full report: https://lnkd.in/dpzxDuCn 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦: 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘐𝘛 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 2024 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘧 279 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴 37 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴, 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.
