Last Thursday, marked a major milestone for NewCold: the first pallet in at our newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility in Dinteloord—the largest NewCold facility built in one phase. This greenfield site is not only our first in the Netherlands, NewCold’s home country, but also a powerful symbol of innovation and growth. We were proud to celebrate this achievement with our long-standing customer and one of the world’s largest frozen potato producers, Lamb Weston EMEA, who also happened to be NewCold’s first customer. Opening speeches were given by Bram Hage, NewCold Founder and CEO, and Tino Domenie, Lamb Weston’s 3rd Party Logistic Service Providers Manager. Jackie Wild, TSL CEO, expressed her gratitude for the successful partnership and thereafter Peter Verharen, NewCold Project Director, symbolically handed over Dinteloord’s keys to Peter Hage, NewCold Dinteloord Site Manager, marking the transition from construction to operations. After the official remarks, the group performed a symbolic ribbon cutting. Jan Tromp Transport Innoveert met Nieuw ASBREUK AIR-ROLLER Systeem Jan Tromp Transport zet een grote stap vooruit in efficiëntie in hun operatie met de recente integratie van het ASBREUK AIR-ROLLERS systeem in één van hun Krone zeilopleggers. Dit geavanceerde systeem, dat bestaat uit vijf rollenstroken, is speciaal ontworpen om de logistieke operatie van luchtvrachtcontainers te vereenvoudigen. Het AIR-ROLLER systeem onderscheidt zich door zijn in verstek staande rollenpatroon, wat zorgt voor optimale ondersteuning van de lading. Dit innovatieve design maakt het niet alleen het lichtste systeem op de markt, maar ook ongekend robuust met een draagvermogen van maar liefst 100 kg per rol. Bovendien is het systeem slechts 47mm hoog, waardoor het gemakkelijk te integreren is in bestaande opleggers zonder veel aanpassing. De toevoeging van zwaar uitgevoerde palletstops en een roestvaste beschermlijst rondom zorgt voor extra robuustheid. This advanced system, comprising five roller tracks, is specifically designed to simplify the logistics operations of air freight containers. The AIR-ROLLER system is distinguished by its zig-zag roller pattern, which provides optimal support for the load. This innovative design not only makes it the lightest system on the market but also remarkably robust, with a carrying capacity of up to 100 kg per roller. Moreover, the system is just 47mm high, making it easy to integrate into existing trailers with minimal modification. The addition of heavy-duty pallet stops and a stainless steel protective rim around it ensures extra robustness. With this technological advancement, Jan Tromp Transport emphasizes their commitment to innovation and quality, further strengthening their position in the air freight logistics sector.
