And what better way to celebrate than by sharing the story of Robin Kwakkel, a 17-year-old mechatronics student who’s currently interning in our cleanroom. Robin isn’t just exploring the world of precision engineering—she’s thriving in it. With a deep-rooted love for hands-on work, nurtured from years spent tinkering in her family’s garage, Robin proves that technical talent knows no gender. 🚀 What a day! Last Saturday marked the fourth edition of the #Makersfestival at #LUX038. Held on the vibrant grounds of the #Makersfabriek, this event brings together innovation, entrepreneurship, and education – all with one goal: 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰. Dozens of hands-on workshops filled the space, and it was wonderful to see young and old diving into the world of technology. We're proud to contribute to this inspiring initiative and help ignite a passion for making. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬? Seeing kids leave with their very own metal keychain – crafted with care and a huge smile. Vol trots hebben we onze gasten een kijkje achter de schermen gegeven met een interessante rondleiding verzorgd door Jesse Bosch, Maximiliaan Beaart en Monique van Vliet. Dank voor jullie tijd, inzet en kennis! Na afloop was er ruimte voor vragen en waardevolle gesprekken. Het is mooi om als regionaal hightech bedrijf bij te dragen aan maatschappelijke betrokkenheid en nieuwe inwoners kennis te laten maken met onze hightech sector. Eentje die passend is bij ons opleidingsinstituut en onze lassers nog beter en krachtiger in beeld brengt, voor zowel klanten als voor onze toekomstige vakmensen. Als erkend leerbedrijf hebben we de afgelopen jaren indrukwekkende stappen gezet, onder leiding van Chris Akkerman, praktijkopleider lasserij.
