The spotlight session by Adeoyin Okuboyejo Okubeyejo, CEO & Co-Founder, Taeps Animation Studios, presented a learning opportunity for #TSO24 attendees as he spoke on "The Convergence: Animation, Tech, and the Art of Storytelling." He highlighted six forms of storytelling, with a special focus on animation, one of the forms of storytelling. Despite not being as popular in Nigeria yet, animation boasts a 30% higher profit margin than live-action productions! The session concluded with a call-to-action, inviting creatives, actors, and storytellers to join the project's mission to tell compelling stories through animation. Emmanuel Adegoke (PMP, NPLM) moderated an educative panel session with AYOMIKUN SOGUNRO and Omotayo Queen Inakoju on "Protecting Your Creative and Intellectual Property: A Roadmap for Creatives and Tech Founders." Omotayo emphasized understanding the form of your intellectual property as the first step to protect your work, advising caution when sharing ideas and suggesting a non-disclosure form with investors Ayomikun highlighted the monetization potential of intellectual properties and encouraged creatives to allow their intellectual property to serve as an inspiration for others to draw from Their session left us with an important question… Are we protecting our intellectual property or allowing it to slip away into someone else's success story? #DisruptiveInnovation #TechSummitOgun #TSO24

The fireside chat with Glory Olamigoke and Chimuanya Dike was a standout moment as they shed light on the often-overlooked aspects of tech - “Breaking into Tech Without a Coding Background.”    Glory highlighted some areas of tech anyone can thrive without coding while urging everyone to rise up and become a valuable part of the rapidly growing tech industry.
