We join the global community to mark World Health Day, with the theme: “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” This year's campaign shines a spotlight on maternal and newborn health, urging governments, health institutions, and communities to take action against preventable deaths during pregnancy, childbirth, and the newborn period. According to the World Health Organization (WHO):  - Around 300,000 women die every year from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth.  - Over 2 million newborns die within their first month of life.  - An additional 2 million babies are stillborn every year.  That’s one preventable death every 7 seconds. But it doesn't have to be this way. With timely, respectful, and quality care, most of these deaths are preventable. Every woman deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported before, during, and after childbirth. Every baby deserves the chance to survive and thrive. That's why our women’s wellness program focuses on equipping women with the tools, information, and support they need especially during pregnancy and postpartum. Through virtual self-care coaching, access to trusted medical guidance, and community-based education, we help women make informed decisions, detect risks early, and feel empowered in their health journeys.  We’re committed to ensuring that no woman or baby is left behind. Let this World Health Day be a call to action for healthcare systems to improve, for policies to prioritize women's health, and for communities to unite in support of mothers and newborns. Because when we protect the first moments of life, we build hopeful futures for generations to come. #WorldHealthDay2025 #mDoc #HealthyBeginnings #HopefulFutures #MaternalHealth #NewbornCare #HealthForAll #GlobalHealth #PreventableDeaths
