In 2024, UN World Food Programme (WFP) Namibia reached over 26,000 people with support that made a real difference — from food vouchers 🍞 and soup kitchens 🍲 to help for children 🧒, pregnant women 🤰, and families hit hardest by drought. But we didn’t stop at emergency assistance. 🌍 Post-Distribution Monitoring Visit 🌍 Yesterday, UN World Food Programme (WFP) Namibia Acting Country Director Tiwonge Machiwenyika alongside Japanese Ambassador, H.E. Shinichi Asazuma visited Farm Queen Sofia and the De Riet Settlement in the Kunene Region to assess the impact of commodity vouchers provided for drought relief.
