As part of our “Ask the Diplomat” series, we had the pleasure of meeting H.E. Mustafa İlker Kılıç, Ambassador of Türkiye to the Kingdom of Morocco, to discuss Turkish foreign policy in an evolving geopolitical landscape. We extend our sincere thanks to H.E. and the Embassy team for warmly receiving us and for sharing such valuable insights.

From the meeting of our colleague Aya El Alaoui, with H.E. Khadija Rouissi Ambassador of Morocco to Denmark, that took place in Copenhagen. The meeting, which was marked by the valuable participation of Nikolaj Carstens of Liberal Youth of Denmark, was the occasion to discuss the role of civil society and youth in strengthening North-South-South cooperation and Denmark-Morocco collaboration development. We explored ways to expand our partnership by involving additional actors and enhancing its impact. We thank the Embassy of Morocco in Denmark for receiving us and we look forward to furthering the partnership between Morocco and Denmark through all institutional and civic means. Had the great pleasure to meet with Moroccan university students, as part of the Youth Policy Center’s “Ask a Diplomat” series, to discuss Turkish foreign policy in a changing world. I am grateful for the enriching exchange of ideas and engaging discussion, and thank the students, Youth Policy Center and its coordinator Aya El Alaoui for making this event possible.

The initiative targets preparing youth from 18 to 35 years for the 2026 elections, encouraging community-driven volunteering efforts, and promoting dialogue between youth and political figures to strengthen constructive change from within the institutions. The YPC takes part in dialogue sessions in #Denmark with influent officials from the Danish Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark) These discussions, successfully completed alongside our longtime partner Liberal Youth of Denmark aim to gather insights for the next international development strategy of Denmark. - The Youth Policy Center, represented by our board member Aya El Alaoui , participated, alongside our partner Venstres Ungdom, represented by Nikolaj K. Carstens, in the Youth Dialogue organized by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Youth Council (DUF - Dansk Ungdoms Fællesråd) held in Copenhagen from March 11th to 15th. During the Youth Dialogue, YPC and VU took part in a roundtable discussion with Michael Aastrup, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament, and Ketil Karlsen, Africa Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where we advocated for greater attention to topics that matter to youth, such as job creation, education, youth-to-youth collaboration, and equal partnerships. Following that, the YPC attended a political panel debate on the role of youth in development cooperation with development spokespersons from the Danish Parliament. This gathering brought together 15 young leaders from #Africa and #Europe and was an opportunity to meet other young #leaders from Africa and Europe, learn about their work in their countries, and share ideas on how to create meaningful #change in our #communities.
