It was truly an enriching experience attending the AWS Security Day in Nairobi! Working alongside Lorna Macharia, Stacey Wathira and Paul Ruoya made the event even more valuable as we were able to discuss how to apply these security concepts to our specific challenges. I was particularly impressed by the sessions on AI-driven threat detection and building a security-first culture across teams. The practical demonstrations of AWS security tools in action gave me several ideas for enhancing our current security posture. Looking forward to implementing these learnings and continuing the meaningful conversations we started.
