People with disabilities face unique challenges from climate change, yet they are often excluded from key climate decisions. This can result in investments that unintentionally deepen inequality. This paper outlines the Climate Investment Funds’ approach to disability inclusion in climate finance. It offers practical guidance for making investment projects across various sectors more inclusive, ensuring that the needs of people with disabilities are prioritized. By addressing the lack of knowledge on disability inclusion in climate finance, this paper serves as a resource for climate funds and development partners seeking to create fairer and more inclusive policies. #PWDs #Inclusion

Nature-based solutions #NBS are proving to be a powerful tool for building climate resilience in sub-Saharan Africa. This report analyzes nearly 300 NBS projects from 2012 to 2023, highlighting where and how they are implemented, their funding sources and the co-benefits they provide. The findings show that #NBS projects have grown steadily, with an annual increase of 15% in new initiatives. These projects have secured over $21 billion in funding, primarily from multilateral banks, international donors and domestic budgets. #ImpactInvesting #Impact #Finance

The Global Outlook on Financing for Sustainable Development 2025 comes at a key moment as countries prepare for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development #FfD4 With rising debt, funding shortages and growing global challenges, the report calls for a fresh approach to financing to help meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report focuses on three main areas: rebuilding trust and making international finance fairer; finding new ways to raise money and invest in sustainability; and improving accountability with clear goals and tracking progress.
