Most Kenyan coffee farmers never get to see or taste the final product of their hard work once the beans leave their farms. Through our partnership, we’re changing that by reconnecting the people who grow the coffee with those who enjoy it. This collaboration brings their stories into our spaces, letting every cup reflect rich flavour and the hands and heritage behind it. Meet Nancy. She is a mother of four and has been a coffee farmer for over 32 years. Her farm isn’t just where she grows coffee; it’s her home, legacy, and way of life. She nurtures her land the way she nurtures her family. No chemicals, just natural manure from her goats, cows, and sheep. She grows coffee, avocados, rice, and wheat, all with the same care and patience that only a farmer truly understands. Her commitment to quality is not just about coffee; it’s about leaving the land better than she found it. But farming isn’t always easy. Land is scarce. Resources are tight. And yet, Nancy, like so many other farmers, keeps going. That’s where partnerships like this one matter. By working together, we ensure that farmers like Nancy survive and thrive. On March 15 & 16, Nairobi got a front-row seat to this incredible fusion as SARAYAA took over JAMAA & The Artcaffé Market for a weekend of fashion, culture, and craftsmanship. Every design told a story of heritage, artistry, and innovation, from the exquisite hand-woven Senegalese textiles to statement pieces crafted with Indigo, Ankara, and African cloth. Saturday night set the stage for an intimate cocktail and runway presentation, unveiling SARAYAA’s latest collection and the narratives woven into each piece. Sunday’s open showcase invited fashion lovers to experience the collection up close, celebrating African design in all its glory. This event, hosted at JAMAA, Artcaffé Market, Rhapta Road, brought together creatives, tastemakers, and design enthusiasts who embraced the growing appreciation for African luxury. Missed it?
