Just wrapped up an incredible trip to our Tokyo office, connecting with our teams and people who find meaningful relationships on our apps! 🇯🇵 One of the highlights was recording interviews with two married couples—one who met on Tinder and another on Pairs. Hearing their stories firsthand was a powerful reminder of the impact of what we’re building. We had great discussions about Pairs’ incredible growth, including its expansion into Korea. The fact that Pairs now accounts for 10% of all marriages in Japan is truly mind-blowing—a testament to the team’s innovation, execution, and long-term vision. I also hosted an all-office AMA (ask me anything) in which we had a special moment with a Shodō (Japanese calligraphy) artist Maiko Kobayashi, who created a piece featuring the character for meaningful connections, tying back to our mission.
