Role Overview: An international offshore wind consultancy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wind O&M (Operations & Maintenance) Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of offshore wind turbines. Proficiency in Japanese is required, but fluency is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on offshore wind turbines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize turbine performance.
• Document and report maintenance activities and findings.
• Participate in on-site training sessions, both locally and overseas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Japanese; fluency is not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights and in offshore environments.
