Responsibilities
Job Title: Customer Acceptance & Product Support Engineer
Position Summary:
Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer (Telecom Application Software) for providing Customer Acceptance and product Support.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Deployment teams to ensure highest level of Software quality and customer satisfaction.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
Analyze requirement and Functional specification and write required test specification
Prepare, review and execute test plans for product Acceptance Testing
Analyze test results, test metrics and present test reports for Telcom protocols (SIP, SS7, Diameter, MAP) & REST APIs
Provide product support for TNS CAS Platform and applications
Continuously provide inputs to improve software quality and product’s robustness and availability
Work on complex problems and carry out exhaustive investigation/analysis along with necessary follow-up activities to identify the root cause and key out effective workarounds to resolve the field issues
Work closely with customer to understand the requirement & debugging of issues.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in product testing in distributed environment in Telcom domain
7+ years’ experience working on Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu preferred)
Experience in driving and supporting User Acceptance Testing for telecom customers
Experience in Telecom Protocol Testing (SIP, SS7, Diameter, VOIP, VOLE, LTE) - MUST (Strong Experience in SS7, SIP, IMS)
Experience in handling functional automation testing using SPECTRA, Jmeter, SIPp, Valid8
Experience in product security testing; Exposure to vulnerability assessment tools RAPID7, Nessus
Experience in providing technical support to clients in order to help them troubleshoot issues
Working with clients to develop a test plan that meets their requirements
Experience in load testing and performance testing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exposure to application servers, database and signaling protocols in telecom domain is mandatory
Team player with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Optional Desired Qualifications
Red Hat, CentOS, Ansible, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes experience preferred
Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, shell scripting and networking concepts
Education And Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
