Responsibilities:

Research and report writing of Japan Security and/or Network equipment market.

• Research in Security: Endpoint security, Network security, Identity/Digital trust, Cybersecurity AIRO software (e.g. SIEM, XDR) and security services market etc.
• Research in Network equipment: Router, Ethernet switch, Wireless LAN equipment, SDN, Telecom Operator infrastructure etc.
• Scope of work: Market Forecast, Vendor Share analysis, and user demand survey through the interviews with vendors and distribution channels, analysis of quantitative data, web survey and so on.
• Planning and writing of the report for the above topic.
• Planning of research program, customer support, business development and marketing promotion, interaction with media
• Presentation at the external events regarding security and/or network market, presentation at IDC's events, engagement in consulting projects
• Collaboration with overseas analysts for research and business development
• Relationship establishment with security solution vendors and/or network equipment vendors

Qualifications:

• Those who have knowledge of IT security technologies, solutions or markets and working experience in security marketing, implementation and operations related to security at security solution vendors, system integrators, security service providers or telecom operators.
• English proficiency: Basic conversation, e-mail communication (read and write)
• Japanese: Native
• PC skill: Excel (pivot table creation/utilization skill), Word, PowerPoint

• セキュリティに関する研究： エンドポイントセキュリティ、ネットワークセキュリティ、アイデンティティ/デジタルトラスト、サイバーセキュリティAIROソフトウェア（SIEM、XDRなど）、セキュリティサービス市場など
• ネットワーク機器の研究 ルーター、イーサネットスイッチ、無線LAN機器、SDN、通信事業者インフラなど
• 業務範囲 市場予測、ベンダーシェア分析、ベンダーや流通チャネルへのインタビューによるユーザー需要調査、定量データ分析、ウェブ調査など。
• 上記テーマに関するレポートの企画・執筆。
• 調査プログラムの企画、顧客サポート、事業開発・マーケティング推進、メディア対応
• セキュリティ・ネットワーク市場に関する社外イベントでのプレゼンテーション、IDC主催イベントでのプレゼンテーション、コンサルティングプロジェクトへの参画
• 海外アナリストとの連携によるリサーチ、ビジネス開発
• セキュリティソリューションベンダー、ネットワーク機器ベンダーとの関係構築

必須条件

• 下記どちらかの経験・知識：セキュリティソリューションベンダー、システムインテグレーター、セキュリティサービスプロバイダー、通信事業者等に勤務し、ITセキュリティ技術、ソリューション市場、デジタルテクノロジー市場に関する知識を持った方、または、IT業界（セキュリティ、ネットワークなど）で、マーケティングや、事業開発を行った経験
• 英語力：基礎的な英会話、E-mailでのコミュニケーション（読み書き）
• PCスキル：Excel（pivot table creation/utilization スキル）、Word、PowerPoint
